Pepe 2023

I met Pepe at Birrot (Jafre, Empordà) one afternoon in August 2019. What he and his friends were drinking, a local Lambic beer, caught my attention. I couldn't resist approaching his table, and we started talking. At the end of September 2019, we were harvesting grapes at his place without knowing the varieties. Now we do, and in this second vintage, we've done a direct pressing that has yielded a claret, somewhere between red and rosé.
