Figa is a light, fresh, natural red wine made using carbonic maceration—that is, the whole, unpressed grapes—of Garnacha and Cariñena from Pau y Rabós, all produced in the Empordà region. As we typically work with our natural wine, the yeasts in the environment ferment it spontaneously. There's no clarification process, and no sulfites are added at any stage of the process, making it the perfect natural wine to start enjoying.
And we call it the one with the figa (the fig one) by the label, but it is not made from figs…
