Very old Carignan grapes from Vilajuïga are blended with varieties from another of Pau's own vineyards. The Carignan grapes are destemmed and fermented without pressing. The remaining grapes are then punched down and added to the tank. The result: a very distinctive wine that conveys the tension of the old Carignan and the freshness of the young vines. A little gem.
