The Ardiente de Limoux is made with Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and Mauzac grapes and is a sparkling wine as fine and elegant as that made in Champagne, but with less commercial recognition. Limoux wines are particularly interesting because of the unique combination of continental and Mediterranean climates. This wine has been aged in oak for 7 years.
